My thanks to you even if you are "Just Looking".  You are staying home, I am staying home and raiding my inventory from the last 20 years stored in my condo to list on EBAY so I can make it through this trying time.  My wishes to you for the same.

Designed by Henning Koppel for Georg Jensen, here's a solid sterling silver (fully hallmarked) fruit bowl, Design 1131A.  Produced in 1965 in two sizes, this is the larger of the two.  Measuring a touch over 11" across, height is about 2-1/2".    Weight is 1030 grams.  Condition is very good for its age but a professional polish is definitely needed as there are fine surface marks all over the piece.  The base, as you can see by the photos, shows the shadow where the silver hits the surface (someone forgot to felt the bottom to avoid this).  Anyway, once this piece has been polished by a professional, it is going to shine like new!  Original retail was around ,000 or so when the bowl was first produced - even now, secondhand, the piece commands a respectable price.  There is currently one listed on EBAY for ,500 BEST OFFER but I think I can do a LOT better!  A professional polish will cost around and postage/insurance about the same.
