Presented is an antique pair of Dutch silver buttons with the William of Orange motif, made c 1800.
These buttons were displayed at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, Massachusetts and we have included the informational plaque from the museum.
The back of each button is marked CS and has the Dutch resale hallmark.
This pair is in great condition for their age. There are no damages and no repairs.
Each button measures 23.2 millimeters square.
