Gentleman's Tan Suit Coat 18th Century. Re-enactments, Size 40-42
. Replica styled for 1765 era so coat is fuller in cuffs and general look than Rev. War, still in style. Coat was taken in so can be brought out an 1inch in mid section on both sides can be seen in photo 9 making it a size 42. Ribbed Domed Buttons in front can be used to button up coat or 3 hook & eyes. Hand made Ribbed Dome Buttons.
This
style used for formal gatherings or can be used to walk about during F & I War and American Revolution events. Made by person that worked at Williamsburg making clothing. Worn about 6 times and not worn in 10 years. Made of natural fibers. Lining is a medium weight linen\cotton blend as seen in photo 10. Buttons are hand made Ribbed Dome Brass applied shank just over 7/8 inch. Pockets on side only flaps so as not to stretch material. Two large pockets inside coat on each side to carry care keys wallet or what ever as seen in photo 10. Style of coat is 1765. Cuffs are a nice size that will work for both Rev. War & F & I War. Back vents do open up has small buttons that sword can slide into to keep closer so you are not hitting people all the time as seen in photo 11.
No stains or wear marks, well kept. Price includes Insurance cost.
The Measurement of the Size 40 with extra material in mid section to bring coat out to Size 42 (1 inch on each side, photo 9).
