A SUPERB MUSEUM QUALITY SCANDINAVIAN ENAMELED PANSY FLOWER MOTIF BROOCH BY MARIUS HAMMER OF NORWAY, C1890
This is a superb Scandinavian brooch by the famed Norwegian silversmith Marius Hammer.  The brooch bears the mark of Marius Hammer and is also signed 935s.  The brooch dates to c1890.  The guilloche enamel is in superb condition.  The pale blue background is stunning and the hand painted yellow pansy flowers are exquisite!  A stunning early collectible jewel!!!
The brooch is in wonderful condition.  It has an early c clasp.  The brooch is 1.5 inches (37mm) in diameter.
A rare and difficult to find gem!  If you are looking for the perfect gem you will be thrilled.  And it is immensely wearable!!!  Either during the day or at the most elegant affair.
