About the Artist
He's the premier historical artist in America – with a focus on the American Civil & Revolutionary Wars. When Mort Künstler began his current emphasis on Civil War art in the early 1980s, he had already accomplished more than a half-dozen artists could hope to accomplish in a collective lifetime. From portraits of prehistoric American life to the odyssey of the space shuttle, Mort Künstler had painted America's story - and was already renowned as "the premier historical artist in America." When he placed his focus on Civil War art, Mr. Künstler quickly established himself as the country's most-collected Civil War artist, and earned unprecedented acclaim within the genre of Civil War art.

We are an authorized dealer for hundreds of fine art artists and publishers around the country. We have many prints in our inventory and thousands more available directly from the publisher/artist or through our network of art dealers and private collectors. All prints are in mint condition unless otherwise stated in the listing details.
Much of the art we list is collector's editions produced on limited edition runs. That means there are only a fixed number of pieces available. When these prints are sold out by the artist or publisher, the only way to get a copy is on the secondary market. Unlike posters or prints you find at the mass dealers online, there are only a limited number of these art pieces in circulation. This limited availability makes them APPRECIATE in value. You hang them on your wall, enjoy the art, and can then sell them for more than you purchased them in the future. Now that’s great wall art!
Availability
While we strive to know which limited editions are still available, every once in a blue moon a piece is sold out BEFORE we have a chance to remove the art from our catalog. There is a (very slight) chance that a piece is not available if the Availability field above shows “LIMITED.” You are welcome to contact us and ask about specific availability on these pieces prior to purchasing. If you do purchase and we find out it is not available, we will refund your entire cost immediately and give you 5% discount toward the purchase of another piece!
Shipping
We strive to deliver our art as quickly as possible. All unframed pieces ship either flat or rolled in a tube. It may ship directly from the artist or publisher or from our inventory. Occasionally, a dealer requires that we take delivery to inspect the art prior to shipping to you…and this increases our delivery time (we will let you know if this is the case). Our shipping costs, including FREE Shipping, are for US delivery only. For International shipping, including shipments to Canada, please contact us to request a shipping quote prior to purchase.
100% Satisfaction Guarantee
We GUARANTEE your SATISFACTION. If you are not happy for any reason, simply return the art to us in the same packaging and same condition as you received it for a refund of your purchase price less our original cost of shipping.
Our feedback score speaks for itself! We appreciate your business and strive to provide 100% satisfied customers. If for ANY reason you are unhappy or need additional information, please contact us directly.
