Description
This is an amazing historic resource and an invaluable reference tool for the gunsmith, collector, re-enactor, or World War II enthusiast! This auction is for a 49-page package of LARGE format 11 x 17 inch drawings of the legendary Mosin-Nagant 1891 bolt-action rifle, also known as the M91/30, which was manufactured from 1891 to 1965. This is the same rifle that legendary Russian sniper Vassili Zaitsev put to such effective use in the Battle of Stalingrad in World War II and that was made famous in the movie “Enemy at the Gates.” The drawing package includes detailed historical information, full-size dimensioned drawings of all the critical parts, including the bolt, receiver, stock, barrel, trigger, screws, etc. Drawings are copies of extremely rare original Russian blueprints and working drawings. Some of the drawings include handwritten English translations. Some include handwritten annotations in Russian. All measurements are in original metric dimensions. There are also some cutaway views and an exploded parts diagram with English names for all the parts. Only a small sampling of the drawings is shown in the pictures with this listing to give you a hint of what is included. The drawings are so detailed and fascinating that you could study these for hours. You might even consider framing them as unique wall decorations. These are professionally reproduced on a large format printer to be clear and readable throughout, although please note that many of the original antique blueprints from which these copies were made have some tears and frayed edges. Still, all of the important details are clear and legible. The prints are shipped rolled in a protective cardboard tube to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.NOTE TO EBAY: This listing conforms to all eBay rules. This is not a gun. These are only copies of historic documents. There are no gun parts for sale here.
