    Description

    Presenting a set of three (3) cast bronze statutes by Phillip R. Goodwin, circa 1909. These three statues were cast by the Calhoun Collector's Society, (marked on the bottom of each piece). Called the 'Lost Art of Phillip R. Goodwin', these casts were not discovered until the 1970's by a relative, who found the original wax forms in a case dated 1909, by Goodwin. They were then consigned to the Calhoun Collector's Society for a limited production in their original wax form size. The Lynx measures over 5" Long, the Bear is about 3" Tall, and the Lion is about 3 1/2" Tall. All three are come with a marble base (pith), that has a brass engraved identification plate attached. The statutes are not attached to the base, in any way, so they can be turned and shown in any preferable profile. The pictures show how they can be moved around, and set at different poses. The entire lot is composed of six pieces, three bronze statutes, and three marble bases. The statues are in 'Like New' condition.  Due to the weight, Bronze and marble, shipping costs are a fixed .50, for priority mail.
